I am intrinsically no good, I have a heart that's made of wood

Rhymes in the spirit of 'Rhyme Week'.

Apathetic Stupids

And to what?

Seemingly no end
A needy friend
To chew on the left overs
On the legs of cobras

An over-dissonant choir of stupids
Whispering to their own personal cupids
Humming in tune
To the rambling loon
Who asks what it is
That makes us all need futons

A kick in the face
Or
A delightful taste
In your mouth
Or
Something sailing south
Without which we would
Settle sinister sequestrations
Without a doubt.

To Summarise

I creased my jaw
In thought
Of what it is
That makes this
So sumptuous
Voluptuous
Contemptuous
And downright silly

The Dangers of Religion

I winked at an old hag
She hit me with her handbag
I gave her religion, money, and love
And she slapped me with her glove
I severed both her lungs
And sung
In the devil's tongue
And then I was hung
Oh what fun.

What I see on the bus

This middle-aged woman on the bus listening to pod-ballads on her iPod and grinning stupidly at the baby with the long head. Kid must get it from it's mother. She looks like she could kiss her partner on the lips and still see over the top of him.

This one guy with white well-groomed hair seems just bored with life. He's interlocking his fingers in impatient anticipation of opening the fridge and grasping a bottle between them.

Oh wait, the middle-aged woman with the stupid grin is wheeling around her own little flesh ball. What's so special about long-face then?

There are only three people on this bus that aren't wearing headphones...

Now she's pulling faces at it, trying to confuse and amuse it. "Where did your face go? Oh it's behind your hands, I see what you did there. Ah yes, that's your tongue pursed between your lips, quite comical." The parents must be uncomfortable on the verge of frightened.

I wonder what they're all listening to...

I know two people on this bus.
One who is a friend of a friend.
One who I... Uhh... Hmm.
